Consequences of 1 down 2 up
 

Apologies if this has been discussed, but in my nervous state should I be looking at 3rd or 4th bottom as the final relegation spot? Given Bury won't be placed into the National Lge the numbers won't balance come the end of the season. Surely 3rd bottom will be the final relegation place? Can anyone enlighten me, or show me a link where the league have discussed the matter.

No decision announced as yet by the National League, however 3 down seems to be the most reasonable solution

We should consider it 4th from bottom until told otherwise. Let's not gamble our future on how the league decides to handle the Bury situation.

As others have said previously on other threads, if it remains 4 down & 4 up from Nth/Sth divisions then it would mean only 23 teams in the Nat Lge.
