Player injury watch - updates
Going into next Saturday's massive 6 pointer at Chesterfield what is the extent of the squad's injuries ?
Firstly, Akil Wright seems to be out long term and would probably be hard pressed to get a place even if fit especially as we now have both Jarvis & Harris. However, the defence seems to be showing signs of creaking. Yesterday pre match Carrington was seen walking around the pitch with his right foot / ankle encased within a support boot - have not read anything about his injury and how long he could be out for - perhaps that is why Thompson was signed specifically or was brought in for cover anyway - just glad we have got him in as he looks like he will be needed. Then James Jennings got substituted late on after receiving treatment for what was possibly a knee injury - a very heavy head on tackle with a D & R player left him in a heap writhing about on the floor - at least he was walking when he left the field but again not heard of any updates. Having kept three clean sheets on the bounce we could do with keeping things the same as much as possible - don't really want to be changing both wing backs going into Chesterfield. |

It's to keep the opposition guessing |
Re: Player injury watch - updates
lainton took a heavy knock on his left arm in the first half imagine if dibble has to come in to the team

Re: Player injury watch - updates
Cara was in 1864 Saturday, said the support was precautionary he'd got some swelling and was treating it with ice, hopeful for next week.

I'd rather stick with a one armed Lainton. |

Ditto that. Never want to see Dibble in a town shirt again |
