Agree with the overwhelming sentiment of the thread so I won't repeat much in my little rant now, but one thing that makes me incandescent with rage is the complete lack of basic game management we possess. I could get a kids' team to manage a lead better or play for a draw. A corner at the death - you keep it in the corner or at least play into space to keep possession in an area that won't lead to any counter-attack - this corner situation is just one example.

The argument could be made that professional players should know this anyway, however the implementation of game management strategies come from the manager & coaching staff. Bucks stops with them.

Unfortunately for us we have a wholly inadequate manager and coaching staff who are simply not good at the job they're paid to do.

It's all so desperately sad & frustrating...

Keates should be shown the door now before we run out of games he is clueless read his after match comments.
I really don't think changing the manager again this season will get us out of this mess.
Keates hasn't set the world alight but he needs to be given the rest of the season to hopefully save us from relegation.
His after match comments aren't great but but what the hell else can he say?
He has to keep the team and the club motivated.
Deep down like us he will be hurting.

A big problem is Keates's mindset:

Ok, it's 2-2. What do I do? Go all out for the win or hold on for a draw?

The answer to that question tells you exactly how DK normally thinks. And he ain't going to change any time soon.

I agree with Halkynred that there's no point in changing managers yet again, but whatever our position at the end of the season, we need to find someone with an Arsene Wenger MENTALITY...go out and win at all costs even if it means losing a few cos you are too attack-minded.

When it comes to the AGM, it should be obvious that someone from outside the Board(s) should be delegated to ask a lot of pertinent questions, someone with a full grasp of (a) the constitution and (b) a full knowledge of the rules of order for meetings like ours.

A motion of No Confidence should be on everyone's mind.

In a key match when we are into injury time and want to maintain the 5 point gap, we should have kept our last minute corner in the corner, not give Chesterfield the opportunity to counter attack. 2-2 would have been a good result.
