If he just got his head down and got on with his game, he could do well for himself.

Not after a row,am genuinely curious. When you say ' feel a lot better for it' how do you mean?

He might have been( foolishly) one of the players reading comments about the players on here.Remember he got a fair amount of stick from quite a few . No different, I know, to any other player , manager , board or trust member or the club cat but some people are human and will seize the opportunity to say up yours ?

Question for a statto. Who's been our top scorer in last 5,6 seasons. How many times have we hit double figures. Jeez o when did we last have a striker hit 15 goals in a season. Last decent recruitment with attacking players was with wilkin in charge ?

Reading this interview it definitely doesn’t sound like he had a problem with the fans? What did he do today, anyone?

A bit of minor celebration when their third goal went in - but as sometimes happens I never understand why a player taken the preference not to do it with his own supporters instead of infront of the away stand knowing it will goad and antagonise those supporters - totally unnecessary - perhaps trying to prove a point. To be honest we let him go and the revolving door of strikers keeps happening but we don't seem to have bettered him since his departure and he's the only striker in double figures - have to say that Fondop, Denton and their centre half Evans were a massive daunting aerial threat especially in the first half - Denton had a free header from a corner which he should have buried in the net but headed straight into Lainton's hands.

I think a lot of this has got to do with injuries in the team which sometimes you can't avoid, apart from that now I've stuck up for them, the rest has to do with 'PPP' 'Piss Poor Performance'

From the BBC:

Wrexham boss Dean Keates said:
"There was that little bit of naivety from us at the end.
The players gave everything today and the fans got behind them and made a massive difference.
"Our approach can't change.
In the last five games we'd been the third-best team in the division on form. In the last 10 games we'd been the fourth-best team in the division.
That will change after today's game, but the group are finding their feet.
"When we've had disappointments before they've reacted well and we have to go again next week."

Cliché after cliché, as usual.

How about he admits instead "For the last two games, both against crap opposition, we've gone from 3rd best form in 5 games to the worst in the league (except Woking.) Isn't that wonderful???"

We're bang on target now to finish on 52 points - but not if our PPG rate continues to fall!
