Embarrassing commentary though “Wrexham unlucky to come across a linesman brave enough to give that”

It always is. The after-the-event commentary by Griffiths is always the worst because it is pure pre-rehearsed spin ordered no doubt by Harris Media.

Unlucky to get a linesman who got it right, embarrassing barrel scraping.

In fairness a top display by the referee, one Karl Evans who has a few years under his belt and handled the match very well with some big decisions especially the foul by Lawlor which could have produced a red by a lesser experienced official - similar with the Hooper clash - two players booked, one from each team and move on.

Thought it was a goal when given on the day and believe the right decision was made but it was made instantly by the assistant which said it all - a massive shout in the 94th minute but you can't ask for more than that whichever team you support - correct decisions.

I hope the highlights do one thing - go to show how much we were chasing the winner and the team doing virtually all the attacking in the last 10 minutes - it was all us and there was only going to be one winner until.........a cruel way to lose a game of football which we didn't deserve.

It's a difficult angle at that distance, but to me there is still clear daylight between the ball at the line, unfortunately.

Miles over. Thought this when I saw it.

Also completely forgot about that Thompson handball at the end. Lucky to get away with that.

Was defo over the line.
Thought the ref let a lot go, especially with Fondop who seemed intent to injure someone, the prick.
Not making excuses but Chesterfield stole the points, classic hang on for dear life and somehow manage to snatch victory. Our defence is a mess mind.

I thought Keates will 'make us solid'?

Definetly over the line credit to the linesman from Chesterfield point of view.

Going off the highlights we looked better 2 upfront surely we should of played like that at home against Dagenham and played more cautious at Chesterfield away.

Lots of mistakes all over the pitch, especially at the back.

Ponticelli looks a proper striker so he will be on the bench Saturday back to one upfront.

I hope not. There is no question Ponticelli needs to start the next game. Would be madness to put him back on the bench. Give him and jj a run of games together to develop an understanding
