So we are clear of going bust are we like all of the others, like is it impossible to happen under the wst?

All it would take is the mistakes continuing and fans to stop going there’s no real money in the wst.

A run of two or three seasons similar, or even worse, to this one, and we'll really see how clever this board are keeping the club stable
As for investment, if it were available. Depends how far you want the club to go.

Yep. One of many who we used to play on a regular basis and who have now left us for dead.

I was going to ask what the OP thought of Brentford but then I remembered it's home brew night in the village on a Friday so best not.

I'd say we're a bigger club .

I remember going to an away game down there mid nineties, lost 2-0 with carl Asaba scoring both for them, he was a great lower league striker. I used to ring clubcall quite often hoping to be told he'd signed for us.

Im still waiting, and even now, he'd be better than most strikers we've had under fan onlwnership.

15 years ago we were. Same with Bournemouth.

Unfortunately both have now absolutely eclipsed us through good private ownership (admittedly Bournemouth hit the jackpot in getting a sugar daddy) and have grown massively while we have declined.

It’s incredibly frustrating.

Bournemouth sound like they'll be hitting the rocks very soon, 85% of income spent on wages. We know how this usually pans out.

Stockport taken Hogan from Salford... Spending continues. If they don't make it this year definitely next. Difference with them is they have director of football who seems to know what he's doing
