This will be a tough game for us. They played well Against Barrow and were unlucky to lose.
I am going 1-1 4200 50 away.

Are they preparing properly ? Not on Nine Acre today or yesterday. Of course they may have been elsewhere but previous form indicates that they may not.

Would have thought it would be an early cancellation, maybe their team may travel Friday to stay overnight but supporters would probably travel Saturday and that looks to be poor conditions on the road. Wouldn't be too unhappy with it being cancelled as high winds can make a farce of a game especially with our recent high ball approach.

Not feeling too good about this one. Agree with SammyMac that the high balls into high winds may not be great. I'll go 2-2 if it goes ahead.

I agree, we're even worse in high winds, Barrow and Aldershot come to mind, still play hoof ball in 50mph winds :toilet:

Don't know what time you were there foxy but Pearson was driving there at 9.20 - he was getting petrol in sainsbury's same time as me and followed me there. Possibly en route to a different training venue - they do use more than one - he wasn't limping on the forecourt neither so that's a good sign

Forecast is heavy rain from 11am for the rest of the day and winds at 44 mph from noon, rising steadily to 57 mph by 5pm. I think the pubs will have a profitable afternoon!

If the defence isn't too patched up, I think we will win a close encounter 2-1. Young or Summerfield making way for Jarvis to play just behind the front 2.

Wouldn't be sorry to see this one postponed. It would give Pearson and Carrington chance to get properly fit and on the evidence of last Saturday we need them both.

Any of our comrades from Torquay travel up for this one they deserve a medal for services to football and a free pie and pint - weather forecast is long term atrocious and I somehow get the feeling that it will be the big influencing talking point.

With the next two games away from home we really, really must take the 3 points.

If Pearson is fit and we play Jarvis and Ponticelli from the start I fancy us for a 2 - 1 win.

Wrexham have been training at Druids quite a few times this week. I saw them once myself but my mate said they have been there 3 times.

Wrexham have been training at Druids quite a few times this week. I saw them up there once but my mate said he has seen them three times. So Deffo training going on

Both team need points. It will be down to luck, the wind, and which team wants it most.

Anything other than a home win will be a catastrophic failure for the club, which will further undermine flagging morale amongst the fans.

Travelling from the south coast for a round trip of the best part of 9 hours over 488 miles through Storm Dennis - take my hat off to them - they should be welcomed with open arms.
