Default Bobby Shinton & Metabolic Support UK - Club in Epic Fail Again

We have been informed that Bobby Shinton, his wife and Metabolic Support UK were invited to today’s match against Torquay United by the club. They made the trip to Wrexham but the club failed to inform them that the match had been postponed. A total failure of communication.

Worth noting this has been denied by Spencer Harris, make of that what you will.

There are clearly loads of reasons the current board should be criticised but piling on to every minor indiscretion is getting a bit tiresome now.

He's been asked why Metabolic Support UK weren't informed, still no reply from 'Mr Chairman'.

Obviously if they havent its discourteous however it has been widely reported there was a storm affecting sporting fixtures and the postponement was made the day before on the official website, the bbc, twitter and facebook. Do charities not have access to this information to check for themselves?

You'd have thought they'd have checked the game was on before leaving. I suppose an email wouldn't have hurt.

Shouldn't they be offered the courtesy of at least an email?

As stated a communication fail and makes the club look bad. Very unprofessional.

Was anyone there when they arrived? I wonder if they were just turned away or did the club still invite them in and cater for them.

Worth noting that the ‘epic failure’ of the club is not quite so epic, https://twitter.com/wrexhamffc/statu...769442315?s=21

Judging by the replied, Bobby was told the same time as everyone else however had already made the trip. It isn't clear whether Metabolic Support UK were told, however with them being based in Chester, I am sure they will have seen the news and be aware it might have been called off anyway.

Feel free to proceed with your pitchforks but my lord it’s getting a bit ridiculous, it’s almost trying to earn brownie points for who can dig up the most dirt, no matter how true or false it may be.
