Judging by the replied, Bobby was told the same time as everyone else however had already made the trip. It isn't clear whether Metabolic Support UK were told, however with them being based in Chester, I am sure they will have seen the news and be aware it might have been called off anyway.

Feel free to proceed with your pitchforks but my lord it’s getting a bit ridiculous, it’s almost trying to earn brownie points for who can dig up the most dirt, no matter how true or false it may be.
Another who can't see the wood from the trees, it's unprofessional not to reach out to those invited by the football club. The point they're making is it's a communication fail.

Apparently, the FPA weren't informed either and found out via other means. A email would've sufficed, what a way to treat partners of the club.

We have been informed that Bobby Shinton, his wife and Metabolic Support UK were invited to today’s match against Torquay United by the club. They made the trip to Wrexham but the club failed to inform them that the match had been postponed. A total failure of communication.
LOL,

Funny that, I did notice there were about 4000 fans waiting to get into the ground at ten to three, the club must have failed to inform them too.

Oh no, wait...

There are clearly loads of reasons the current board should be criticised but piling on to every minor indiscretion is getting a bit tiresome now.
I tend to agree. That said, they really should have had the decency to resign by now and let someone else have a go.

The current state of affairs at the club is crap but can’t help but think this is a twisted story and nit picking. This isn’t the 1970s anymore, surely they’d have known the match was off without direct communication.

the other bit about the charity seems nonsense too:

"
I am an ambassador for the charity, and live in Wrexham.
I was due to help yesterday.
The charity saw it on the club website Saturday morning and informed all people taking part.
Unsure exactly when or if they actually spoke to the club.
These things happen. 🤷*♂️"

Also the Twitter account posting this posted at 11:45 am today saying that Bobby Shinton had told people this in the Horse and Jockey this afternoon. Can he travel forward in time?!

It's getting very tiresome you having a go at the club about everything and anything. After reading the other posts on here are we going to see an apology from you. Probably not as you don't seem the sort who can ever be wrong.

Losing the will to live with some of the crap spouted on this message board.

I am a season ticket holder and the club didn't tell me the game was off either, lol.

Storm Dennis was heading our way - lots of sporting fixtures being called off throughout the country - and lets face it this fixture wasn't called off two hours before kick off - it was postponed THE DAY BEFORE.

It seems some people spend their whole lives sharpening their knives ready to strike at the club over the most trivial of incidents.

Perhaps I am wrong and we should appoint a new position at the club - a 'postponement notification technician' - full time of course so they can tell anyone and everyone if a game ever gets postponed in the future - there again it might save us some money if those half interested could be bothered to even check the club / BBC website instead of expecting the club to dispatch a boy on a bike with a personal telegram !
