Re: Bobby Shinton & Metabolic Support UK - Club in Epic Fail Again
Sounds like a load of bull from a second hand conversation in the pub. No reason to doubt wafc1926 or Nick Hencher on Twitter.
I’m not in love with the club right now but this seems very storm in a teacup.

Re: Bobby Shinton & Metabolic Support UK - Club in Epic Fail Again
Am not keen on these type of threads.
Unfortunately they contribute to an already negative feeling around the club and aren't helpful to the fans, our club or our future. What is important is Human Nutrition and health and organisations who help people with rare conditions to lead healthy lives. What is also important is Bobby Shinton (Shinner) was one of the greatest footballers to ever play for Wrexham when in his pomp. He didn't ever recreate the same level of magic wizardry that he showed at Wrexham, at Man City, Newcastle or Millwall. So we were all very lucky to witness it. Shinner was also an incredibly kind hearted man. As a young kid he gave me his boots from the 1978 season and I kept them hanging on my bedroom wall for over 20 years. If only I could find them now.

Bit frustrating to read stuff like this.
It makes it so easy to label anti board fans as having an axe to grind rather than genuine concerns about the wellbeing of our club when these things are put out there. Just deal in facts chaps - the board have done enough themselves to damage their reputations, this just gives the die hard pro trust ammunition to use against you and those who are somehow still on the fence will certainly be leaning in the direction of the trust. |

Re: Bobby Shinton & Metabolic Support UK - Club in Epic Fail Again
There's no need for bullshit the only issue that needs to be talked about is the football. Under these clowns we've finished 17th, 11th, 8th, 13th, 10th and then 4th, knowing full well we wouldn't do anything in the play offs with the worst set of attacking players I've ever seen.
It's a complete disaster and to top it all off they went and hired a lad who wouldn't get an interview at Flint town and we are now staring relegation straight in the face!

A nothing gripe.
Twitter is the way of the world for communication now. It is instant and travels fast. What exactly do oldies want? To read it on the back of the Evening Leader? I refuse to believe anyone woke up even Saturday morning not knowing the game wasn’t on. |
