Interesting tweet from earlier detailing perhaps footballing board influence on tactics, if correct:

"Dixie will be pushing at the next board meeting for new players. Don't have a leader on the pitch, need a Darren Ferguson. Dixie has spoken to Dean & then we played 2 upfront"

It is pretty clear there is no mandate from members, why do people not understand that?
Ha. like they'd listen if there was a mandate

His update have stopped -

"
That's it meeting over, luckily as battery is dying & my typing finger is numb. Night all"

Great work by Mark Felstead and his typing finger - thanks, and very much appreciated if he reads this!

Some of us have been saying this has been going on for a while, including Darlington.

On the apparent 8 acres, looking at groves and the land that doesn't look 8 acres to me, 8 acres would would include the buildings too. 9 acre is as the name suggests and not much bigger than the entire Groves site. Small details are important!

As for Wayne fairplay, many of the usual tried to discredit him and now you all know a bit about his credentials. Unsurprisingly, 'emails haven't been recieved' which will he a lie as those at the top are feeling threatened.

Pete Jones just needs to resign, tonight. Incompetent beyond belief and does he not remember his last election manifesto regarding investment?

Google maps has a tool that you can measure distances, make that into a closed area and it gives you the m2 - done a very rough outline of where I think the site would be of 100% pure fields and its come out 7.5 acres and thats without a bit of the south area. 7-8 acres seems about right.

I dont understand it. Do you mean in order to have a mandate, a member has to propose a resolution at the agm in order to give them a mandate?

How does that differ from other decisions they make, like the decision to pursue the groves? Were they voted on? (perhaps they were)

Was anything said about the second Disabled Platform and the poor relations between the Club and DSA?

Just got back. A lot of totally irrelevant questions asked.

The one interesting point made was that the club should seek investment or a credible owner and then give the fans a vote as to whether to sell the club to such an individual, rather than requiring a vote to actually go out and seek investment.

Pete Jones had no answer and in classic fashion asked for the 'next question'.

Spencer answered most questions directed to the board quite well with the rest of them basically saying nothing bar an odd comment from Pete Jones now and then.

RIP Wrexham FC, this club really is going nowhere.
