Ironic on a night when most of the board members present claimed they need to improve communications and poor Steve Lloyd talked about getting the volunteer base back up as it has dropped off so much. |

Just done a rough measurement of 9 acre and that comes in at 8.75, although the council measure it at 9.2 acres. Last edited by GiggityGiggityGiggityGoo; 17th February 2020 at 21.48:20.. |

It's no wonder we're bumbling along where we are when this is all some people care about. Two players that left 3 years ago ffs, one who has now developed into one of the best centre-backs in League One who we'd have had no chance of keeping hold of.

Im not being funny but an isolated and disinterested hooper is all ive seen upfront in recent games. If Rutherford running around in circles 20 yards behind hooper is the second striker then i suppose we are playing two strkers.

Re: Members meeting tonight - club & WST board open to questions KO 7:30pm
I've just got back. If that's how many 'members' can be bothered to turn up when the club is in this state, then nothing will change.
It got quite heated when a bloke asked about the training ground an I got the impression tonight Spencer has seen his arse with the fact he has to answer all of the questions, and to be fair he generally does. Lots of irrelevant questions about 'engagement with supporters' and membership, which annoyed me, get the football right and everything falls into place for gods sake. I initially thanked them for the time they put into the club. Then I told them it isn't only about this disastrous season, the last seven, apart from a brief spell under Gary Mills, have been terrible, and for the first time in my life I was embarrassed to support the club, I asked if they had a plan of how to change this? I then asked them what justification they had for hiring Brian Hughes and giving him a three year contract? Spencer tried to make out that hiring first time managers has been the most successful approach etc The main points were towards the end with questions about investment etc. Not sure what to make of the responses, but it's clear they wont seek it until they have a 'mandate'.
