Default Bromley (A) Thoughts, predictions, who's going ?

Our next game is against 8th placed Bromley on Saturday afternoon.

On the face of it there wont be a better time to play them - their league form is very poor with 4 defeats and 1 draw in their last five games.

Danger men are Michael Cheek and Hackett - Fairchild.

Interesting to know that Michael Chambers who signed for them from us only last month has just moved on to Billericay Town who currently sit at the bottom of National League south.

So, who is making the 230 trip down south ? how many will go and where is everyone coming from ? a good game for our southern based exiles.

Score predictions, thoughts and what team will Dean Keates play - who will play in midfield and will we play with two forwards as we did at Chesterfield ?
Will the Wales v France International rugby knock a few off the attendance ?

An away win would be a massive boost to keep us out of the bottom four - especially with another difficult away match at high flying Yeovil Town next Saturday.

Mrs B. has bought Wales tickets for me as a birthday present so that's one less to travel.
(Getting there is another matter all together)

We deserved a draw against Chesterfield and although Bromley are a better team I predict a 1:1.

I am saving my money for a holiday - so not going to Bromley. It would be nice to pick up points, but Bromley might just be too strong as they are going for promotion. As the home team, I bet they wont be playing just one up front!

Lose 2-1. Go a goal down, equalise just after half time then concede six minutes later.

Will be at this.

London Reds will be meeting midday or so at the Shortlands Tavern right next to Shortlands station if anyone fancies a beer; the more the merrier!

Clubhouse at the ground is home fans only, and they are pretty strict on that and check pretty rigorously. There's a bit of a bar area in the away section; away end is open to the elements so let's hope it's not too windy/wet on Satday....

They have had a good season but form is declining. I'd hope we can get a point; be surprised if we do any better than that.

Will try to get to the Tavern.
First time at Bromley. Looks like plenty of parking at the ground. Is it for all fans or just home fans and permit holders?

I agree, we'll concede 6 after equalizing.

1-7.

footballgroundguide.com which I normally find reliable indicates there is parking at the ground (£2) which is definitely right but first come, first served (so probably not that many unreserved spaces. after that street parking.

it's a reasonably safe area I'd say (though you can get problems anywhere of course) for street parking; so long as you check for residents parking only areas, etc. the usual to avoid getting a nasty fine!

you might just want to give Bromley a call though to confirm the parking is for all fans but certainly the internet suggests it is.

Not sure we will win there, I am hopeful for a draw.
