Pearson 6: Won every header he needed to, did the simple things well, hoofed it lots

Kennedy 7: Bright spark and severely missed when he came off. Started attacking movements with intelligent passing and positioning

Lawlor 5: Did his job but not much else. Pretty average, but average was good enough today

Thompson 7: Looked smart, defended and attacked well, made a nice outlet for the midfield

Young 4: Seemed a bit lost in a team that really worked hard

Harris 6: Chased the ball and spent more time off his feet than on them. Despite this, got involved and made several crucial tackles

Jarvis 9: Outstanding. Incredible technique and talent. Linked up with Keillor-Dunn and Ponticelli extremely well to create a dangerous attacking unit

Keillor-Dunn 8: Went quiet for large periods of the game, but stood up when needed. Incredible goal to watch out for on the highlights

Ponticelli 9: Finally the hard working striker we've been needing. His flicks and holding play spearheaded every attack. Clinical counter attacking goal to cap off a great performance.

Subs: Won't rate them. They were clearly sent on with the instruction to waste as much time as possible
Interesting rating for Lainton compared to the rest of the defence.

I guess Young is due a bad day in a largely impressive season. Could not make this one but delighted obviously with the result. Jarvis seems still to be impressive despite his age.

A game against a team that hadn't failed to score at home this season, played in difficult, blustery conditions, on astro...

Lainton - 8 - Solid kicking and brilliant handling of some horrible high balls. Great save second half too.

Garratt - 6 - It looked hard work for him, but when targeted by their speedy sub late on he stood up to it and got some vital spoiling challenges in.

Kennedy - 7 - Was having a really good game til injured, hope not serious as the change in formation put us on the backfoot for a good 15mins.

Pearson - 8 - Ace. Kept Cheek quiet, looked to be playing through the pain again 2nd half, but put his body on the line every time. As always.

Lawlor - 8 - Tidy. Back three looked comfortable throughout, thoroughly deserved clean sheet.

Thompson - 7 - More accomplished than at Chesterfield, good defensively and showed up well as a forward threat, especially first half.

Luke Young - 6 - Did the essentials in the midfield scrap so others could be more expansive. Still our player of the season by a mile in my view.

Jay Harris - 9 - MOTM. Jay was just everywhere, twisting sinew and stretching to spoil everything Bromley tried to get started. Vocal too, driving the lads on. Very glad to have him back.

Keillor-Dunn - 8 - Wow. The lad's got skills and looked several levels above the opposition as he took the ball past them with confidence. Wonderful goal. Faded second half as we were pushed back and he saw less of the ball, eventually subbed. Very promising indeed.

Jarvis - 8 - Superb touch, control, composure, passing, attacking threat... a first half 9 but also faded slightly with less of the ball second half. Looks a great signing.

Ponticelli - 9 - How long has it been since we've had a Wrexham striker who can do what he does? Presses tirelessly, gets in behind frequently, and when he gets a run at a defender they look in serious trouble. Brilliant goal... travelled a long way, had two players facing him but found the bottom corner with ruthless accuracy. Boy did that feel good from the away end!

Subs: Ruthers put in an important shift to protect the lead, Akil looked a bit rusty which is to be expected, and the less said about Oswell's pass back towards his own goal the better.

The manager - well, it is what it is ;-) very good team selection and suddenly we're 4th in the away form stakes. Onwards.

RP Gold this one!

Knowing you pretty well, I am really scratching my head wondering what the first point you were looking to make here is

Jordan Aqueduct hits the bar.
