Bromley Ratings
I'm waiting for somebody who went to the match to put some ratings up as there sounded like some decent performances there.

Re: Bromley Ratings
Sounded like 2 sets needed, one for each half!

Re: Bromley Ratings
You could be right.
Did you ever collect that shirt I left? |
Re: Bromley Ratings
Nobody stood out either good or bad. If pushed your centre halfs were both dominant and your number 9 ran our pathetic centre half ragged.

Re: Bromley Ratings
I’m keen to hear how Thompson and Garratt faired.
Garratt received a fair amount of stick on his debut |
Re: Bromley Ratings
Neither were much good. Thompson better until we went to back 4 when Garret slightly improved.

Re: Bromley Ratings
Lainton 8: Solid, did his job but wasn't particularly challenged. Made one exceptional save
Garratt 5: Faded as the game went on, defended well and provided options up front, but no real quality Pearson 6: Won every header he needed to, did the simple things well, hoofed it lots Kennedy 7: Bright spark and severely missed when he came off. Started attacking movements with intelligent passing and positioning Lawlor 5: Did his job but not much else. Pretty average, but average was good enough today Thompson 7: Looked smart, defended and attacked well, made a nice outlet for the midfield Young 4: Seemed a bit lost in a team that really worked hard Harris 6: Chased the ball and spent more time off his feet than on them. Despite this, got involved and made several crucial tackles Jarvis 9: Outstanding. Incredible technique and talent. Linked up with Keillor-Dunn and Ponticelli extremely well to create a dangerous attacking unit Keillor-Dunn 8: Went quiet for large periods of the game, but stood up when needed. Incredible goal to watch out for on the highlights Ponticelli 9: Finally the hard working striker we've been needing. His flicks and holding play spearheaded every attack. Clinical counter attacking goal to cap off a great performance. Subs: Won't rate them. They were clearly sent on with the instruction to waste as much time as possible |
Re: Bromley Ratings
fair enough about subs but I was glad to see Ruthers come on when we were up against it near end as he made some good tackles / contributions

Re: Bromley Ratings
Rutgers laud in a free header and The Bridge hit the bar
