Sounds like a poor performance, not helped by gifting them a goal on the stroke of half time. Not sure it's anything to do with training as alot of work has been going on Cefn Druid's 3G appareny and that has proved dividends recently but more to do with player inconsistencies.

Anyway back down to earth after last week with a need to put the work in this week with a huge game next week.

Switched off with 10 mins to go and listened to a Clinton Baptiste radio phone in that was absolutly hilarious , a bit like Keates training methods !

We need Carra & Hoops back quick, cannot rely on the young lads week in week out.
Experience counts at any levels of football.
Let's hope the midweek games go our way.

His current point return is actually 42.9%.

However, that does not really matter. The aim remains to avoid relegation, which is an uncomfortable possibility but not yet a certainty.

My arbitrary target was 60 points, which also seems unlikely.

Is Keates the best man for the job? I would still say not. But the Board somehow thought otherwise; not a clever position to be in. But that is where we are at. Saturday's game against Eastleigh is a 'must win' game; anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded.

I think we need a minimum of 4 wins to have a fighting chance of staying up, but 5 wins and a total of 57 points should be enough.

This will go to the wire.

PS What was Lainton thinking for their first goal? Bizarre!
PD - were you there? I must admit I wasn’t and was listening to it on BBC Radio and the most biased commentator in the history of football and even he conceded it was a bizarre decision by the ref. Was it really the goalies error? Was it close to you?

Normal service resumed, back to the training ground Monday morning where Darlington will blow their minds with his breathtaking training for an hour.

Sounded like we were sh#t. But what do we expect being managed by a useless tit, who is managed by a few other clueless tits. Need a clearing of the board, but won't happen in this closed shop.

We were okay for 44 minutes until Lainton gifts them an utterly stupid goal. Awful second half, much like the first half of the season.

I still have some sanity left, so rarely go to away games, and listened to this on MIXIR with Mark Carrington. Commentary was better than usual.

I am sure QR will appraise us when he gets home.
