The only striker we have had who could do this properly was Beavon and he could only do it for 60 minutes. He also had to spend so much effort doing it that he was rarely in goal scoring positions. We haven’t done this because we have a crackpot board appointing crackpot managers.

Hooper been a huge disappointment given he was our Stella signing.

When we have tried it we have got overran in the centre of the park.

We would need two amazing central midfielders for it to work.

The only current full back we have who doesn’t get light headed when he crosses the half way line. No great pace but two good feet.

Or field a diamond formation with decent full backs who can get forward.
