Ok. Fair enough. I cant answer the question because my knowledge of above points is not that it enables me to make comment. A little knowledge can be a dangerous tool.
I've always been taught to speak as I find. Which I do.
I personally do not get involved wth the behind the scenes politics because I have no desire to. So my only dealings thus far with memebers of the board and everyone else involved with the club has been positive so why would I want to slate them?
If I had first hand knowledge of any of the incidents you refer to I may take a different approach but like I said,I have no wish to do so.
The main reason being is because to me its all about the football. Always has been. Its a release. A few of hours on matchday with the lad. Couple of beers and a laugh before the drudgery of Monday morning repeats itself.
I could get all worked up,slate every Tom Dick and Harry but I decide not to.
Am I a life long supporter? Yes.
Did I help the club financially when in dire need? Yes.
Do I have a season ticket? Yes.
That doesnt make me a saint or a sinner. (Or 'the top red!)Just someone who wants to enjoy the match without any outside issues.
I dont see it as apathy though some may, thats fine,I'm really not bothered.I have amassed all the friends I need thanks very much.
Do you really enjoy watching the same negative football of the last 4 years, what about us playing with one up top at home and boring the pants off the fans who still turn up,and what about playing a system with two wing backs one who is to old the other is a centre half. Why can we not bring in proper wing backs who are up to the standard required

Pete's stance is the board members have been fine whenever he's spoken to them and he's not bothered about the DSA fiasco, the lack of democracy issue with motions voted for not being carried out, etc.

Pete, btw, apologies - I shouldn't have stated that you weren't disabled, this was an assumption I was making based on your general attitude towards the DSA. Obviously, I don't know your circumstances so shouldn't have jumped to that conclusion.

Sadly there is still a dark shadow cast over the Racecourse Ground.

We need to let more light in.

Channel the light for Wrexham Football Club

There is still enough people who genuinely care and don't want our club to be stuck in shitcreek or worse go out of business.

There is some misguided thinking. I don't think its intentionally destructive. But Power is a poisonous chalice. It's just the way it is. The Lord Of The Rings got that message out there.

It was the same before (1980;s) and it will be the same in the future. People are seduced by power once they feel it in the palm of their hands.

The best thing that can happen to Wrexham Association Football Club is to allow the light back in. That means love peace and harmony.

If the war between the club governance and the disgruntled fans continues to rage, our club will continue to suffer. Thats just the way it is.

It requires compassion and humility to allow that to happen.

It also requires the ability to listen to one another.

That might be beyond some individuals. I don't know.

But the danger is in the end the club we love will be extinguished and there will be nothing left of the club carcass.

We are in a dire situation.

The players are the only ones who can turn this around.

The players and the manager and our amazing fans on side.

But the players need to step up and show they care as much as we all do.

If they don't they will have to cope with being the players who possibly were part of the end of our football club as we know it. That might not be fair on them. Its bad timing possibly, but it's still in their hands.

The ball. The net. Defend ours with all your life and attack the other one like all your life depends on it.

A couple of hard fought wins and the pressure will ease slightly and allow some football to be played.

Then show humility and encourage new people onto both boards. Start again . Consider external investment. Get the right sort of manager who sees and understands the culture at Wrexham and who actually has real ability.

Help him to believe he will be the hero, the one that eclipses everyone else and that the financial support is there. Right behind him.

Make Wrexham AFC great again.

Our young fans deserve it.

It all sounds so simple when put so eloquently W.K. - an excellent post.

With reference to 'Lord of the Rings', it took three fairly long books before peace returned to Middle Earth - I sometimes wonder if we have to continue the fall before we are able to rise again.

Our fall has continued from what is now called the Championship to near the sixth level. During that time, Tolkien could have written many more trilogies... but all we have to show for that time are SH’s pseudo-speak papers about which he is so proud! Where is the Plan of Action to get us out of here instead? Nowhere to be seen!
