We tried that once apparently but it didn’t work, or in reality cost too much money and gone for cheap options ever since. It also makes more monetary sense getting experienced assistant managers like Mike Newell and offering them 3 1/2 year deals then pay him off after a month......

What is this with wanting ex player's back here? If it's not as players it's manager's... Stuff Lawrence his managerial record is zilch like Keates and Hughes sacked.

We need a clear out get rid of Keates yes he is a total failure I cannot stand his excuses for us being **** tactically clueless, they say how teams play is representative of that persons personality, so going by that Keates must be a boring timid guy, because that's what we are witnessing from his teams boring scared defensive football.

Leaving league position aside fans pay money to be entertained not bored to death. Sooner this boring character is gone the better and take his stooges with him.

But for the love of God no more ex players back here managing let's pay that bit extra and get a man who has a winning mentality and has done it at a higher level.

IHMO the next manager needs to be someone who has got a team promoted at this level. If that means paying a bit for them then so be it.

As a generalisation that is a good starting point but there are other factors. JN was a first time manager.

We need someone that is a "Wrexham manager". A team that can play football but also be "competitive" when necessary.

Basically it comes down to selecting winners. Some can do it others cannot.

The current "selectors" clearly will only drop on one by chance. Their record is one of continually making poor decisions on a number fronts.

They need to accept they have failed and are likely to continue failing, and therefore stand down, to give even a small amount of hope things will improve.
