Wrexham Gateway meeting (Top Stand ?)
 

Wrexham Council are today meeting to discuss the report of the lead member for organisation etc. The report is of course looking at the 'Wrexham Gateway' which must involve possible developments of a new Kop Stand for the club.

Its not surprising that this agenda item is under part 2 (Secret) This use of secret has a role when there are commercially sensitive matters However Wrexham Council are well known for putting matters under secret and revealing their proposals as a fait comple .

Some years ago pre the restructure of WCBC committees some Councillors in Wrexham were known for challenging some part 2 inclusions and often won their case - thereby ensuring a level of openness.

The Leader of the Council moved the matter into part 2 seconded by Cllr Bithell.

We must await the conclusions of their discussions.
