Classic duo - Eric Morecambe was a big Luton Town fan - has his own statue on the Morecambe sea front - Morecambe & Wise was one of those programmes you just had to watch at the time in the simple days of 3 channel steam tv. |

i am sure i would have remembered this at the time had i seen it, i do recall Monty Pythons mentioning Wrexham and being astounded at the time, apparently we scored a couple of thousand goals but lost out on the away goals, but from this Eric and Ernie clip not only do we have a mention of our once reputable Wrexham FC but we also have aqn example of classic British humour
