But it does seem that football is being hung out to dry here. Apparently, it's OK for schools still to be open where you've got thousands of sweaty kids living cheek by jowl for several hours a day, 5 days a week, but it's not OK for football supporters outside the truly elite level to rattle round half empty (or more) stadiums for a couple of hours pw.

I tend to agree - with no football in the open air on offer what will people do as an alternative ? go to the cinema ? go to the pub ?.

The situation shows that the Vanarama League need to work far more closely alongside the EFL - different decisions being made by both bodies in less than 24 hours - it's making the powers that be who govern our league look farcical National League, Russian League and Turkish League are all that's left.
Tonights match of Solihull Moors v Harrogate Town is now shown as PP on the National League site but still going ahead on the SM site.

Better than the crap I paid for in the Tech End last Saturday pre Eastleigh.

A steak pie priced at £2.90 - served stone cold. Couldn't make it up.

Final straw - never, ever again.

Best pie served - this season's winner Flint Town United - somehow mature plump cuddly ladies with a few years under their belts seem to know what they are doing - and then there's the refreshment kiosk under the Tech End.

A so called fans owned 'community club' that rips off its own supporters and serves them horrendous food? They must be happy to rip their own fans off.
