One issue If the National League continues to complete its season is that two sides will win promotion but it will not be clear if and when they get promoted. If the football league wipes out this season then there is no way to accept sides up from the National League. We are really are better to follow the timescale of the leagues above for that reason surely?

According to the BT Sport commentary team at yesterday's game between Halifax Town & Ebbsfleet United - the National League bigwigs are scheduled to meet again (Monday).

We have Boreham Wood at home on Saturday but there are other National League fixtures taking place on Tuesday evening.

Perhaps by tomorrow afternoon they will have fallen in line with every other league - or there again perhaps not ?

I can envisage the football season being voided. Sad for some and good for others.
Can't see any other option unless this virus suddenly disappears.
Government are predicting a 4 month isolation for the more vulnerable, so are anticipating that this epidemic will be with us 'till July. There is no way to complete the season and restart within a couple of weeks unless matches are played behind closed doors.

This must be an option, but one they will try to avoid if possible. Those clubs with no financial reserves will be hit hard.

We have 5 more home games to play. If they are either cancelled or played behind closed doors it will cost us about £50k. Thankfully we can afford the hit, albeit it will have a knock-on effect.

Boreham Wood and Wrexham both had people self isolating on Saturday - so as that's meant to be for 14 days the game next Saturday would be OFF - even if the National League meeting on Monday says they will go ahead with games (which they won't)

Mrs Foxy has to go into work even though some of her colleagues are self isolating ie they have a cough. So I can’t see why football should be any different. Wayne Rooney and the rest are talking self indulgent garbage. The clubs have enough players, the government havent banned games, so they need to get on with it. When all this is over , hopefully soon, we will look back at the sheer lunacy of most , from the person buying 24 toilet rolls to the self indulgent football community.
