You would hope they would.

I would also expect the early April date will be around the time UK Gov introduce such cancellations by law, which will probably mean insurances etc pay out.

This is going to be about for several months.

I can't help but feel I have been jerked around all day.

To recap

All leagues gradually cancel their fixtures.

National League notifies us THIS afternoon games will proceed.

Was resigned to thinking it would be cancelled but alas no - reschedule today, tonight and tomorrow.

Go out - fuel car, go shopping and buy food for tomorrows match - coach and match day tickets purchased in advance)

Get home to discover game is now off all because one of our players at this late stage on a Friday has been advised to self isolate.

You have to feel for the likes of Pat's Coaches, catering staff at Barrow - in fact everyone including supporters but the bottom line is...........make a solid decision early and stick to it.

I know, how bloody inconsiderate of the player to feel ill towards the end of the week. He should have predicted it on Monday eh?

It's the national league fault. They should have postponed all games following the football league and premiership statement. They shouldn't be taking risks on the fans and players health.

This - spot on.

Nothing to do with individual players now feeling unwell - it was bound to happen at some point.

The wrong decision was made yesterday by the National League in stating all would progress and then they messed up again big time earlier today coming to the totally wrong decision despite all other leagues throughout the country cancelling their fixtures - meanwhile playing piggy in the middle are all the service providers and 1,000's of supporters whose lives are changing almost as fast as it takes to switch a light on and off.

What do you think will / should happen tomorrow morning if a player from a club due to play in one of the remaining fixtures feels unwell and is advised by medical staff to self isolate ? Perhaps we should start cancelling more National League games ad hoc if a player develops a headache and sore throat.

Or just perhaps the National League big wigs could grow a spine and cancel all fixtures in line with all other leagues - who is the absolute odd one out and has now generated an even more farcical situation cancelling games in response to individual players feeling unwell. The tail wagging the dog springs to mind.
