Simply don't know - however Chesterfield have let it be known that they were totally against their match at Dover going ahead.

I somehow don't think there would have been a consultation process but it is incredible how the National League hierarchy came to the decision to proceed yesterday given that all other leagues were earlier postponed.

They should be put on a pedestal and asked to explain their decision making - stating they have everyone's health as priority just doesn't cut the mustard - the question would then be 'why were all other leagues suspended with the exception of Russia and Turkey ?'

This situation is developing rapidly. Just accept that once a player was diagnosed with Coronavirus then the chances are that others have got it and, on this occasion, there was no real option but to cancel, whoever made that decision. People are just fishing for another reason to slag off the board or the National League or whatever makes them feel better.

Based on the fact the government will almost certainly ban gatherings >500 people this coming week it will all be irrelevant. As to the league just relegating as is without taking into account games played what a farcical suggestion - I agree.
We are not being stupid we are following government guidelines. For all we know it could be Lainton- if Foxy is suggesting we therefore play with Dibble I give up

It was barnum-bobb so he wouldn't have been missed but obviously he may have infected other players

With regret Wrexham AFC can confirm that our National League fixture against Barrow tomorrow (14th March 2020) has been postponed.

After seeking medical advice, a member of the Wrexham AFC first-team squad has been advised to self-isolate and we have a duty of care for the well-being of our staff, volunteers and others.

The football club is continuing to monitor the situation closely.

This is as much as I know. Presumably they would have consulted Barrow and the NL. As with other games postponed today, the sensible option was taken.; whilst those clubs with no known issues clearly played.

This would not have been an arbitrary decision, especially as the kwak gave his advice.
Sorry I can see why my question was confusing. I didn't mean just the Barrow x Wxm fixture I was referring to the National League's decision to allow the full fixture list to go ahead. Did they consult clubs and what did we say is my question.

Ha, that just about sums up the current nonsense perfectly. We have gambled with our existence because Barnum Bobb has a cough. It gets curiouser and curiouser.....

Sorry I was misleading in my questions as I replied earlier, I meant the entire day's games and not just ours as a result of our isolation
