Default Barrow game postponed - player self isolating

One of our players is self isolating. Hope they're doing okay.

With regret Wrexham AFC can confirm that our National League fixture against Barrow tomorrow (14th March 2020) has been postponed.

After seeking medical advice, a member of the Wrexham AFC first-team squad has been advised to self-isolate and we have a duty of care for the well-being of our staff, volunteers and others.

The football club is continuing to monitor the situation closely.

Was my immediate thought. With people self diagnosing themselves and “self isolating” it’ll lead to a complete pisstake of many employers in this country.

I'm OK with this . If there is evidence of possible infection matches need to be postponed. Now expect the National League to follow suit and stop matches from Sunday 'till early April.

You would hope they would.

I would also expect the early April date will be around the time UK Gov introduce such cancellations by law, which will probably mean insurances etc pay out.

This is going to be about for several months.
