Spotted an interview has gone up on the Daily Post website with Spencer Harris regarding the coronavirus situation.

A few interesting snippets, including where he says the club can survive financially if game are cancelled but it would have a serious impact.

Also says the club didn't want any games to go ahead over the weekend.

It concerns me that we may not see any football this year, I hope a plans being drawn up for that eventuality if it happens.

He is quite right stating that the health and Safety of everyone is a priority . For me, in particular that large body of older fans. Good to have communication from the club.

Can’t see the Lionel Richie concert happening. Big financial hit there. With the current “situation” re the Board, season ticket sales will be under pressure too. Bleak outlook.

Sensible position taken by Spencer and the Board.

We will have to eat into our financial reserves over the next few weeks and months; but you can only spend it once.

We will need a strong campaign for early ST sales once the dust has settled. Alas, that might not be in time for the scheduled August restart.

Time will tell.
