Latest info says could be PPG or null and void, seems to imply National League System, but not clear if that will also include NLS steps 1 and 2 |
Re: Decision on finishing the season
Should be points per game with one team being promoted to League 2. No teams going down but the PPG winners of National League North and South being promoted. This would mean 25 teams in the league next year and more revenue . Perhaps 5 relegated at the end of 2020-21 . That’s my solution.

Re: Decision on finishing the season
Non league paper reports this evening waiting for National League to make final decision before other non league steps can conclude their season.
I had a look a week or so ago and I think it was 19th but sure a statto would tell you for sure!

Re: Decision on finishing the season
If it finishes now, maybe average points per game gained from last 10 games added to each team. that would allow for current form
Too complicated - keep it simple. If you follow this logic then you have to take into account the average points the opposition teams have etc etc. Some teams have easier run ins, teams have injuries and so on. Can't predict the future … stick with the past its 100% accurate. |

Too complicated. Keep simple. Also expect a few teams to go bust. Keep current promotion and relegation numbers, and teams simply move up a place if a team above goes under. We may end up with fewer teams in level 10 for example but these are extraordinary times. On PPG Wrexham came 19th. So not relegated. |
Re: Decision on finishing the season
The season is nowhere near complete and too many ifs or buts to hand promotions or relegations to anyone. There will be legal challenges all over the shop.
Easiest and fairest for the vast majority is to write off the whole season and start again in August as if it never happened.Extraordinary measures for extraordinary times. |
Re: Decision on finishing the season
In such a tight and substandard renewal of the national league, you can't just write off 9 games
There isn't a lot between all the teams bar Chorley,, Anything could happen |
All times are WMT (Wrexham Mean Time). For non-town viewers the time now is 19.16:46. |
