PPG isn't going to be fair because some teams could have already played all their games against the top sides and only have lower placed sides left to play, or the other way around.

Our Sunday league management committee have just received a statement & FAQ's fromCheshire FA. 2 options open to us, expunge the season or decide by 'points per game. Bad news for us we had just 2 away fixtures to play which are all profit for the club. Good news we will survive, going into our 57th season.

Looking like this season could be finished next season, if the epidemic runs until spring next year as predicted.

I hope that's not the case, but I'm assuming all on contracts would be covered by government. This all needs clearing up by all parties immediately before clubs out our level in particular release players. I hope as a club we do not go down that route and are looking into if players contracts are covered.

How those in charge expect to continue the league and the contingency plans - if any- needs disclosing.

No way can games be played behind closed doors, it would take away emergency service workers needlessly.

I dont think finishing this season next season will be an option. Clubs at NL level are not really expecting to play anymore games. It will be a choice expunge season or decide on points per game. I guess for management committees at NL and above it will come down what's the fairest way, most practical and what the lawyers recommend.

All players are on different contracts. Boreham Wood chairman has said they have 10 players out of contract and 5 loan players going back to their club on April 25th. So they'd have 6 players left. I would imagine there will be a few out of contract here on April 25th too.

So there is absolutely no chance another game will be played this season. It would create more mess trying to play the season than to finish it now.

This simply wont go away and rapidly change.
I can't see another ball being kicked this season - for all sorts of reasons.
Pissing about extending the season will only cut into next season if we have one and then there are contracted players - not sure if the public will have the stomach for it - I know going to two or even three matches a week would not appeal to me one bit - and playing behind closed doors still effects far too many organisations and bodies not least out playing & management staff.

It will all get knocked on the head and written off - but what is the fairest option - leave leagues as they stand and forget about positions / league standings / promotion / relegation ? - taking any alternative option could get seriously messy throughout the whole pyramid.

Can anyone seriously think the restrictions will suddenly be lifted and we will resume playing first week in April v Dover Athletic (H). Just isn't going to be happening and time wont be able to be recovered - but what about next winter ? this could be here for the long term, possibly ?

Just seen on the BBC that had EFL have been warned that football returning by the 30th April is unlikely. Given Boreham woods situation a completion of this season is unlikely
