Don't forget we have a game in hand on them and Chesterfield who are likely to stay up with Ebbsfleet, Fylde and Chorley going down.

Don't think anything is sorted yet. The National League statement calls for postponement not cancellation of the remaining fixtures followed by discussions with the FA about the most practical and reasonable way to determine the end of the season.

It's asked the FA to end the season for the purposes of player contracts. Not sure if that's the same thing as ending it and deciding on promotion and relegation issues at the same time.

depending on when normality (if at all) resumes... play 2-3 games a week behind closed doors... IF season is to continue with minimal ppl inside stadiums.

if ended.. for me has to be null and void with no promotions or relegations.. gifting barrow and/or harrogate and relegating the current bottom teams would be opening the FA to lots of legal and court cases against them. as relegated teams are not guarenteed to be relegated and the top 2 are by no means massive faves for promotion with not many points at all sperating 1st and others in play off places.

also various prizes for league finish lots could argue in court of teams above them playing more games than them etc etc hence unfairly given more prize money. and ofc financial losses of relegated teams when it is possible they could of been safe. lots of variables for legal action if they finish it but not null and void

Yep 4 points top and 9 games to go

No fkn way should Barrow be gifted this

Likewise we should not be saved from relegation

Equalise the number of matches played by all clubs by rounding! Top two teams should be promoted on actual points then gained/awarded. Bottom three should go down in NL, bottom four in NLN, NLS as it would then stand. A fairly obvious and simple solution! Barrow would fully deserve promotion as the most successful team in the NL of this current albeit shortened season and who could argue against that! Go again next season!

The league will be null and void with no promotion or relegation with nine games to go how can they promote or relegate any team.
