Shaun Pearson - good guy

Shaun has just called my 91 year old dad, to see how he was getting on.
Spoke for at least 10 minutes.
Good to see, that he's making sure, the older supporters are not being neglected. :hurray:

Shaun and his wife are outstanding people. They have asked anyone who needs additional help to contact them on Twitter too.

Hi Les, lovely to hear from you again and always enjoyed your posts, from an opposition perspective when we were rivals. Could you please enlighten us on your views about the appointment of Ian Holloway as manager! Have you enjoyed your football any more since returning to the football league from the conference? Did you attend our anniversary football game prior to promotion and were you made to feel welcome? Thank you for your post re our successful day at Wembley. Really can't believe it was 7 years ago.

Fair do’s to the guy.

There’s a lot wrong at the club but Shaun Pearson is clearly a top guy, the sort of character that every club needs. Fair do’s to Mrs P as well.

Fair play, the likes of him and Rutherford are proper pros. Can’t see Hooper or Grant delivering me a burger from the Fat Boar anytime soon.

My wife works for the Welsh Blood Service, and dealt with Shaun when he popped into Chirk last week to donate. All their team are in agreement that he's "a lovely man", and looking forward to seeing him again.

So, if we go by his football goal stats around 2 in 45 deliveries are successful?

He would be good at playing hide and seek, keep the kids quiet for a few hours looking for him.
