I believe Daniel Levy and others have taken 20 per cent cuts in their salary and Tottenham were among the first to offer their stadium to the NHS in the battle against Coronavirus.

The car park under the ground has also been given to three local food charities to use as the hub for their service, vulnerable people were already using the arena.

Means nothing when they posted record profits while paying players obscene amounts of money.

Daniel Levy got £7 million last year in salary and bonus. I'm sure he can afford 20%. How much money do these people need?
It's about time the fat cats in the city were brought into the conversation , there will be loads of bankers and speculators earning more than footballers.

I hope the noise being made will see the government revise the scheme to try and prevent such goings on.

Disappointing to hear of Liverpool's stance as a supposed 'family club' in furloughing some non-playing staff! 'Gobby' Carragher and 'know all' Collymore soon seized on this headline!

So Levy is still taking £5.6m a year salary. He must be devastated trying to live on that whilst the tax-payers earning £12k a year contribute to their clubs staff costs.

There is no way of dressing it up, what Spurs and co are doing is absolutely sickening. They don't need any bit of help covering their general staff's wages whilst they continue to pay out millions a month to players. Their stadium is currently out of commission in terms of game time, the very least they can do is offer use of their car park.

These people have more money than they could ever spend and we're expected to give them a slap on the back for taking a bit of a pay cut? No thanks.

Exactly. The purpose of the Job Retention scheme is to stop businesses going bust and making their employees redundant. So Liverpool , Newcastle, Spurs and Bournemouth are all in danger of going bust ? Their billionaire owners are taking our money so next season they can shell out £50 million on a Panamanian forward nobody has heard of. Truly sickening.
