Default Clubs at risk?

Possibly not a popular thread and may be quite controversial/speculative but which clubs do we think are at highest risk as a result of the financial crisis being faced? I’d like to think Wrexham will be ok given statements made (possibly too bold a statement!).

To start the list:

Macclesfield - were struggling even before the crisis
Hartlepool - was rumours of players being transfer listed
Swindon - as Hartlepool

Dover are struggling as well.

I'd say us transfer listing players would be a good sign.

There has been a board statement a few weeks ago stating that Wrexham was finacially stable. I would be interested whether, like some local landlords, Glyndwr have made some kind of allowance re the lease payments this year.

Barnet are in the mire and have been for some time but the aftershock of all this is going to be game changing - a vaccine is a long, long way off being readily available to the masses - what strikes me is that it isn't a 'winter thing' like flu and it's taking victims of all ages - progressing from social distancing to us all back at the Racecourse in a 5,000 crowd is a long way off - by which time many smaller clubs will financially be beyond saving.

I'm quite hopeful a vaccine will be ready by the late Autumn but we will see. Whether it is available to the masses then is another matter but it was widely reported yesterday that this could be the case. Wasn't fake news either I don't think.

Hopefully there is a vaccine soon and if there is it will have been an amazing piece of scientific discovery. Humankind is yet to find a vaccine for HIV after decades of investigation. We also know covid is closely related to the common cold which we have never found a cure for.

Even if by some miracle a vaccine is found by the Autumn it will take months maybe even a year to manufacture enough, don't forget it's a worldwide thing, front line workers quite rightly will be treated first followed by those more at risk with underlying health probs, then it will be over 60s. A long long way off of being OK to mix in crowd's, you also have the fear factor of that and the fact a lot will have got out of the habit of watching football.

Reccomend following Andy Pilley on twitter who is doing a series of videos on this subject this week

Yes I know he runs the biggest basketcase in football but this should be interesting
