They ll respond as they always do sweep it under the carpet and it will go away. Just ignore them we own the club not the fans

Yes, on this thread alone there are about ........ a dozen

not trying to demean the effort but I would suggest that the vast majority have more pressing issues at the moment

Pointless post. As dreadful as the covid crisis is some still have the wish to change things for the better. And yes... you were demeaning the efforts of others so jog on.

There's just shy of 200 signatures on it in just over a day

I agree there are more pressing issues at the moment. That doesn't mean the football club should be completely disregarded

Wrexham AFC has survived the world ripping itself apart twice and this isn't the first panemic its faced too. The club is hugely important to the town and provides (or used to) happiness, passion and a welcome release from troubles. Wrexham AFC is very important to myself and many others. We need to make sure it's very important for future generations to come

Behind the club 100 percent as someone who has seen some of our greatest ever times I feel privileged to have been in that position. However, to ensure that our children / grandchildren can experience the same we need more than blind protest. Not aimed at you, but give some ideas

Agreed we do need more that this petition but as an absolute starting point we need to convince our apathetic fanbase that change is possible. The need for change has been stated by the club themselves but I'm not confident that they'll make anything but minor changes. Big changes need to happen.

The fans voices have been ignored many times, questions have gone unanswered, critics have been silenced, passed resolutions have gone unfulfilled. The petition, when it brings about change, will give hope to Wrexham fans that we do infact own the club and that we can shape it how we want to. That hope should then be carried through to voting for proposed resolutions at EGM/AGM's. At the minute hands are tied and there's not much more that we can do apart from petition the board. The board themselves know we are in a dangerous position due to the pandemic, we have to do something rather than nothing to begin not only securing the future of the club but to see it stand a better chance of success.

Northwalian Dragon,

The bit that stood out for me more than anything else in your letter and that is at the root of all of this is Unity and being united.

We are Wrexham Town not Wrexham United.

Unity is a very, very difficult thing to achieve as a fans base and as a fans owned club. because we are all different, with different ideas, different views and different political compass points.

There is a really interesting website called
https://www.politicalcompass.org/test

Where you can test yourself. I always land on the Dalai Lama.

We started to fall apart as a club in the eighties because our club board started to argue amongst themselves. I know that as I was very close to it.

Thats what happens when people put themselves and their ego above the greatest cause, which is the club. It needs humility, constraint and compassion to unite people.

Some people want change but won't change themselves. That is also an issue.

I sense you are like a young Jedi master, but to have any hope of beating Darth Vader, you need to feel the force and work out how to truly unite our fans base.

Once you achieve that then you will have the wave behind, that you seek to be able to create the change you believe in.

As someone who wants to see change at the club and will not blindly accept what has been dished up as of late, I thank you for your input. This petition was also posted of the Facebook page and received either backlash from people who appear to be bigger supporters of the board than Wrexham AFC or they ask meaningless questions without answers, such as, 'are you going to stand?' And 'if the board all resign, then what?' It is rather refreshing to see your constructive input, please keep up the good work.

The answer is not to keep a blind ignorant leadership in place.
