Charlie Caton was with Wxm until he was 15, signed for Shrewsbury academy. That age group lost at least 6 players in the past 12 to 18 months

Max Williams ans Phil ? to Salfard
Scott Buttler and Cian Williams to Swansea
Patrick Jones to Huddersfield
Wxm cannot really compete as they can't offer much in trens of scholarship and prospects since they had to leave the EFL fixtures

David Jones grew up in Gresford/Marford.. Started at Manchester United then worked his way up to the likes of Wigan, Wolves, Sheffield Wednesday, Burnley ending up at Oldham.

Chester have done better - they have a good representation in their 1st team squad of academy graduates as well as making good money from Sam Hughes. Not all of these needed to leave.

currently at Blackburn Rovers - was loaned to Barrow just before the virus stopped football - would have made his Barrow debut in the match against Wrexham...
