Re: 100 best Non League Players
Would have thought Young might have had a chance of making it on there but in reality it shows how bad the current squad is.
Ironic that Quigley and Rooney are the top two but weren't considered good enough for here. |

Re: 100 best Non League Players
What a load of twaddle that list is! You cannot tell me that Cameron Belford is a better player than Shaun Pearson or Luke Young! I agree that this season has been an utter disaster but things need keeping in context. Something felt like it went seriously wrong during the game away at Boreham Wood and from that point on our confidence and team spirit was absolutely shot. Not one player had a good season...it just cannot be that bad next season (whenever/if ever that is!).

Re: 100 best Non League Players
i think the list was created by a journo, and is only going off form. Majority of those on the list are either high goalscorers or key players in teams doing well in their respective leagues.
one player i would like to see us taking a look at is Brackleys Lee Ndlovu, but this will totally not happen, mainly as everyone is going to be skint and also Brackley are still to find out what is happening with their league - they may well end up in same league as us

Re: 100 best Non League Players
A list of the best players is immediately invalidated if you put Tom Denton on there.
I notice the majority of the Barrow team are there, but I'd argue that the majority of them aren't the best players their success is all about their coaching, tactics and team spirit. Pearson and Young are both better than half the players on that list. Hooper is also a much better player than MFT, he just can't be bothered actually playing. |

Something worth noting though. Things like this and the non league paper in general. Like to antagonise the larger fan bases as it provokes the most amount of interaction on twitter and traffic for their website. Happened to Oxford, Bristol Rovers, Luton and ourselves. Wrexham fans are terrible on twitter for biting at obvious wind up attempts.
