Highlights of the season
Surely there were some good memories in what has been the strangest season on record. I'll list my stand out moments which will start the ball rolling - others may have their own magical moments. Here we go : Beating league leaders Halifax Town at home against all the odds - 1 - 0 with only 10 men after the red card of Lawlor. Luke Young's match winning superb strike against Bromley who were again league leaders - surely goal of the season (what there was of it). In the pub pre match at Chorley on NYD with masses of fellow reds and Omari Patrick's superb goal to send us on our way to an away 3 points. But here's a strange one - those magnificent 1200 Stockport County fans who never stopped singing and gave us a reminder of what a proper atmosphere with a decent away following at the Racecourse could be like (despite the result). My lad having the opportunity to see little Wrexham play at Ibrox v Rangers - something of a blast from our European days we have almost forgotten about. |

Re: Highlights of the season
Highlight of the season for me was getting slated for calling Dibble in pre season by the ‘experts’ other than that there hasn’t been any highlight and haven’t been since Keates took over and won’t be returning.

Re: Highlights of the season
High point of the season was the win against Barrow on the opening day. There was a real buzz about the place when we fought from behind against what proved to be the best team in the league.
Bobby Grant and JJ Hooper actually looked like they wanted to be here. Then the following Tuesday we throw away a 2-0 lead in the last 10 minutes and it was downhill from there. Last edited by Lods; 30th April 2020 at 21.03:50.. |
