Anyway, it's more wait and see from the Premier League. I'd say they won't finish this season, they're waiting on government advice next week.

Doesn't seem the government are that keen at all after public backlash on boosting morale.
The government have already told insiders they back it, it just needs formally ratifying. Apparently they also want Eastenders and Coronation Street to restart filming as they want things that lift spirits. Not sure how the soaps lift spirits but never mind!!

They've leaked multiple scenarios to get the nations views, I've seen they'll restart, that no relegation will happen, only if enough testing kits are available, that they're waiting to see what Germany do as they're in a better position than us currently.

All stories in articles this evening, the main one that will scupper it is many players according to Aguero are 'scared', with players and managers not keen on a restart. If they say no, it won't happen.

Germany can restart the season because they have handled the outbreak well. Like France who have cancelled their season, the UK have not.
Germany could be in for another lockdown due to the virus making a comeback.

Clubs haven't even agreed to neutral venues according to one article and have in another.

A big meeting next Friday.

Same with comedies...

Just imagine...Wrexham-enders...the perfect soap, sob story and comedy going at the minute unfortunately...we’d make a killing and keep the real club afloat!! Where’s that ideas for the WST thread when you need it?!

We’ll leave the dales to the south and Cardiff can have their own coronation as per usual!

If training is resumed before social distancing rules are relaxed, BBC Sport understands players will be tested for coronavirus twice a week and would be screened for symptoms every day. All tests would be carried out by health professionals at a drive-through NHS testing facility that each club would have access to. Training grounds will be optimised for social distancing and high hygiene levels.

If that's true it should be cancelled, no way should they get tests ahead of key workers.
