They've received the open letter, the signatures of the 500+ supporters who have signed it and also a list of public comments. Some of which are shared below:

"I am just one of a lot of fans who has stopped attending games at the Racecourse for the not so simple reason that changes on the board are a must. A fans owned club who refuse to listen to the fans. Dean Keates was not wanted back at the club my many fans but he was appointed anyway. Also Carl Darlington, who I consider to be the cause of our poor style of ‘football’ should resign or be removed from his position immediately!"

"I hate what the club has become. An inept board led by Pete Jones. So many lies, so much secrecy and ignorance compounded by abject failure on the pitch. The adding of Lindsey Jones to this bunch and recent rumours just increases my feelings of misery. RIP Wrexham FC"

"I have opposed this fans owned ideology since the start. It is a farce. The club is run by incompetent fools. Mistake after mistake. The fans are sick of it. Spencer Harris, John Mils and Peter Jones should have walked away from the mess months ago. They are a disgrace to our once great club."

"I have completely lost faith with the people i trusted the most in running the football club I love & have supported all my life! Time for a change."

"Stopped going due the shite we have to watch"

"I want my club back"

"Status quo cannot continue.Fans bring alienated.Cannot run fans owned club with huge divide between fans and board."

"A change is needed. Starting at board level, then management team."

"I want the old Wrexham back. The performances this season have been shocking"

"Wrexham fc is for life. The club is in need of saving from power hungry egotistical maniacs"

"I don't like how the few in charge seem to have let the power they have grabbed go to their heads. Keeping that power for themselves seems to be their priority rather than bringing in someone better suited to run our club on our behalf. The money (our money) that they have wasted through football ignorance has brought our club to an all time low. Yes change is urgently needed."

"The current board has gone stale, mistakes have been made using our hard earned money and those responsible are still at the helm. They seem to believe that there is nothing wrong at board level, and carry on regardlessly damaging our club even more. Its time for change......."

"I no longer believe the current board can take us forward"

"Change needed top to bottom"

"Board has their own personal Agendas/ egos . Let’s get people in who put the club first and LISTEN to the fans"

"I don't necessarily agree with ALL the demands, however change IS needed and this petition needs to have enough signatures to ensure that the boards of both the club, and the WST HAVE to take notice and take action towards positive change rather than just concentrate on preserving their own precious status."

"I seriously believe we need some big changes at our club starting with board including the manager who I believe should NEVER have returnded."

"Sign before there's nothing left to save."

"We need change... we need pride back. We need a board that someone how know how to take the club forward, unfortunately the ones in charge have taken the club as far as they can.. we need fresh ideas, a fresh plan"

"The current set up have lost the trust of so many fans that their position is untenable. They have taken us as far as they can and we are further away from our aim of getting back into the EFL than we have ever been.I'm not completely against fans ownership but changes at board level need to be made now."

"The current board have done as much as their skill set allows. No more for them to offer."

"Never been so disillusioned with the club with the current set up we are not going anywhere fast"

"We as a club are in freefall. Things need to change before we can progress. No brainer."

"I have no confidence in the board as it stands. I also would like a refreshed approach and have a new team manager in decision of players."

"Changes from top to bottom needed this farce cannot be aloud to continue. The board have done good to take us as far as they can but changes are needed now. It’s taken this horrible virus to in my opinion escape relegation to the level below ."

"Club can't not carry on the way it has been, time to change it and quickly"

"I'm signing this as I'm a passionate wrexham fan of 42 years, and have never ever felt so excluded from the club I love."

"I do not believe that the current set up can move the club forward plus the way the DSA was treated remains a complete disgrace."

"I want the club to have a future .I am one of the many that is losing interest having been a supporter for almost 50 years i feel it's time for change"

"We want our club back"
Fantastic. Will they listen? Will they hell, the fact they’re still in control after taking the club to its lowest point in history answers that question. I’ve said it for quite some time, the only way to get rid is to take direct action during games etc.

Well done NWD - I fully support the content but read it all with a growing sadness and fear for the future. There will certainly be Club victims of Covid 19. Inevitably they will be the weak and divided. Our current 'leaders' have led us almost into oblivion, it may well need that spirit and loyal determination for those who saved the Club in the past to rise again.

We spend a lot of time debating on how we got into this mess - it is only right and proper we put that energy into how we get out of it.

It may well come down to the supporters - but we need our own leaders.

I'd forgotten about the 81 questions debacle.

Isn't it strange that they won't answer them all and publish the answers for every fan to see. Its almost as if they don't want the fans to see the answers and they are hiding even more things.

Still, at least when the Cent reopens we can all head over there to see what snippets of info we can pick up with a good old eavesdrop.

Have any board members responded to the open letter yet? Or even acknowledged receiving it?

Well done NWD, great work. We should expect an imminent response stating that they want to be more transparent and can they have more money please. #clowns

Why not send the letter to the Leader and Daily Post. They would probably think it too antagonistic, but if they did publish it would be seen by a much wider audience than just RP.
