Default "It will all come out one day about what really went on" - Kevin Wilkin

https://www.leaderlive.co.uk/sport/1...ham-afc-reign/

“It wasn’t the nicest way to leave,” said Wilkin, who will always have bittersweet memories of the first time he led a team out at Wembley.

“It will all come out one day about what really went on but there’s no point looking back. I enjoyed my time at Wrexham. It’s a great club and I did all I could to help them get back where they wanted to be.”

Anyone know what he meant "what really went on"?

Ask Dean Keates, Neil Ashton.....it's no secret.

Wilkin is a nice guy, good player recruitment....shat on by a poisonous players mutiny.

Whatever the right and wrongs behind the scenes the NFU capitulation and a consistently poor league position made it the right decision.

He absolutely recruited well and no one after him has pulled up any trees, albeit we have finished consistently higher in the league, but any rose tinted specs about getting him back annoy me. He is still managing in the league below and hasnt been able to get Brackley up and no one in our league or higher has been clamouring to hire him.

Players mentioned (Ashton & Keates) led a revolt about training and he was undermined by Horne bringing players in, he then went one better and brought in Darlington due to said moaning players which was beginning of the end and we're still crippled and cursed by 'DarloBall' to this day.

Rumours are that Bishop has Wilkin by the throat in training. If true then Bishop should have been sacked and an example sent to the other poisonous players

Injuries being feigned was another rumour, Wilkin got the last laugh. Somebody had a word in Mills' ear, the bad apples and Darlington were let go.

I recall Keates being injured prior to the final then at his age was if by magic fit enough to play the whole game. To put it bluntly he was sh*t that day, little wonder he got subbed off never mind his 'injury' woes that season too.

To be fair Bishop should have been sacked for being an utterly shit, lazy twat of a footballer never mind gripping Wilkin..

He couldn't half mis-time a jump for a header to put the centre half off to be fair to him.

Which bonehead came out with that one, was it that Mike Hughes??
