Good point it could be either but covid seems the major concern. Just reading an article on BBC sports and a few clubs will not survive this.

There's no point chucking money into a black hole just for the sake of saying "we didn't let our club die"

If we can't afford to run this Club to a reasonable standard (which includes building accessible facilities for all our supporters) then is it really worth continuing at the level we are?

If the 2020/21 season is null-and-void, and Glyndwr still expect £100k p.a., then I'm afraid it's time to shut up shop and start afresh. There's no shame in folding in those circumstances

(But for what it's worth - I think at least 1 of those circumstances won't happen)

In addition, there must be grants available, sponsorship opportunities for local companies etc? Apologies in that I haven't followed this second platform issue in great detail so all these points have no doubt been discussed in great detail already.
Unless the platform is at a higher level, it is exposed to the elements, a scenario that the new facility should avoid. Otherwise it is no better than the pitch side spaces in the MRS. Any platform above 2metres requires a lift. A ramp to serve a platform just shy of the 2m would extend about 45metres. (equivalent to 3/4 of the pitch width)

2. The platform currently proposed is, as most agree, poorly situated and does not meet the 'advisory' standards required by level playing fields for inclusion. Access is also below standards.

3. There is also the cost element. The current platform is being constructed at minimal cost by Phil Salmon, for which he should be applauded.
To construct a platform in either the B Concepts stand for away fans or behind the goal in a reasonable position would likely require a lift which would see the overall construction costs soar to £30 - £40 k.

4. The cost in good will, due to delays in actioning the members wishes, is immeasurable.
Can you back up your figures please?

Absolutely no way I'm wasting any more time emailing these jokers after they ignored all my questions for the Q&A.

Have the board consulted our disabled supporters about placing it in that area?

And how many will it accommodate in that part of the ground?

Yes the DSA were consulted but their concerns were dismissed.
The platform will only serve 3 wheelchair users and their carers.

In answer to Wrexham O - That's a guesstimate based on a small commercial lift within a newly constructed protected shaft - around £25k + platform construction(Cost dependant on overall size)

Can't verify the figures without making a formal request to a supplier.

I think we can get a lift way cheaper than that.
