I did a small bit of work assisting the DSA on the first platform and even back then I could feel tensions. I understand both sides points but feel that there is certainly a way forward.

Sounds like we will end up with a new platform without the input of the DSA which is a shame.
Any tensions that existed back then were between the WST/WAFC/DSA and the University.
WST/WAFC and the DSA were united in pushing forward that project as I recall.

If you can recall a specific point of tensions between the DSA and WST/WAFC then please do remind me and I will try and recall events around it.

It's my opinion, looking back, that we were ALWAYS going to have a second platform without our input.
The club were always going to put it in that corner, segregating some disabled fans in the process.

Just to remind you all of where the club are putting this, the corner between Yale Stand and Tech End, take a look at this video.
Around 13 minutes in, where you can see the sort of experience 4 wheelchair users will get with a big away following.
19.25 minutes in when the police tell you about some of what when on in that area and to quote the senior officer "a pretty uncomfortable place to be at times".

Depends on your perspective I guess though.

I'd say that banning the DSA because they didn't reply to an email within a very short time frame is petty and shows a lack of professionalism. Especially given I've waited 5 months and haven't received a single answer to any of my questions.

I also couldn't care less if there is tension (which based on the petty reason the club was banned seems to be one sided)

The work the DSA has done has been incredible. Incredible. So much so they've been praised in the House of Commons. Imagine having that as an asset for the football club but deciding not to honour their achievements because the club don't recognise them as being part of the club.

If the reason for banning them is tension then they're going to have to ban everyone bar themselves

That is literally the worst place in the ground to put the new disabled platform, is it not?

I strongly believe so.

Everyone should take a look at that video and see for themselves.

Potentially for some unless they count the increased atmosphere there which might be attractive to some have a sing etc. For me I'd rather be in the Mold Road section.

I reckon if the club are honest its been picked as it doesn't reduce capacity and therefore potential revenue to the club in the longer term.
