Of course we should be obsessed with getting back into the football league, the second we stop doing that (you could argue that's already happened) is the day the club is openly admitting our standards are plummeting.

I feel sorry for people like Brian Hughes who were simply out of their depth and shouldn't have been hired in the first place but Mills didn't help himself at all. I remember when he took the job he said something along the lines of the club being set up for sucess and how he wouldn't be making excuses. What a load of arse.

I do wonder how our budget compared to Gatesheads though, given his comment about them being similar. The trouble is I wouldn't trust what Mills or our board would have to say on the subject so I guess we'll never know.

I could be completely wrong but it looked to me like Mills seen his arse and got himself the sack. Towards the end it seemed clear as day thats what he wanted.
