"A Club" - by that, you mean "Charlton Athletic"

'but he says he would also consider becoming a part-owner of a club or taking a job at a club whose owners he could "trust and work with".'

'No mandate", if you exclude the training ground.

Even if he approached the WST he would almost certainly be rebuffed.

If they had anything about them they would approach him but of course yjey "have no mandate to do this". Pathetic.

This.
They should go begging, even if its just for some short term help and advice. But they won't. Far too arrogant for that.

No mandate unless you want to build a training ground remember.

I can imagine the response now.

"Over the last year I have had many conversations about different things and different clubs," Jenkins said.

"I have been out of football for over a year and I have been looking for an opportunity.

Although his time didn't end well, you'd be doing very well to name someone from the boardroom in UK football whose achieved what Jenkins did at Swansea. Completely turned the club around and in complete contrast what our jokers have done.

Has Jones resigned yet by the way?

I believe he’s be working as Dominic Cummings advisor, that’s where Boris ‘It’s time to move on slogan has come from’. No one knows how to ignore the people more than Pete Jones.
