Student tickets have been missing for years so no surprise. I've seen club branded face masks, VIP matchday experiences, basically being a fly on the wall during a match day, from getting on the teambus to being in the changing rooms.

It doesn't sound like anything else will be offered, also where are the terms and conditions that are mentioned?

It wouldn't take long for somebody to research what other clubs are doing and then seeing if it fits Wrexham's customer base. The offerings and ideas are just those of Steven Cook recycled year after year.

Anyone know what's happened to the booklet that was produced regarding sponsorship opportunities? Seems like years since one was produced.

Finally, has Kelloggs ever sponsored the club in some way during Spencer Harris' involvement? I'm struggling on that and it's rather odd to me, one of it's shining lights has failed to get them involved in some way.
I don't think Kellogg's have ever been involved in any sport sponsorship.

Kelloggs are no stranger to controversy, with John Kellogg first creating cornflakes as a masturbation deterrent due to his extreme views on sexual activity of any kind. He observed that indications of masturbatory behaviour included waxy skin and a fondness for spicy foods (from experience, 100% accurate).

More than 75 years after his death, his legacy lives on, with kelloggs employees ensuring that fans of Wrexham FC continue to experience zero entertainment or excitement from any kind of ball play.

I think they actually expect people who don't find bootlegger annoying to go for that one. Thankfully, there's nothing forcing you to cough up for something that doesn't personally interest you.

Just Google "Kellogg's Sport Sponsorship." You'll find plenty of examples.

Ben,

I loved this club and now I see it getting ruined. When we turned ‘fans owned’ I thought that this would be the future. Alas, it’s not and has been constantly undermined and the ethos of it undervalued by the board. Having seen so, so many fans turn against a board of a ‘fan owned’ club speaks volumes in itself. I will not give a penny to this club until they leave and we have transparency and honesty at the top.

Commercial Department needs fresh blood, can't see how these initiative's will raise the funds needed. Other clubs are selling shirts including limited edition retro shirts, season tickets which includes being able to pay in installments - why not us? Student tickets have been missing for years so no surprise. Good Morning GGG. This is Geoff Scott the Commercial Manager. The Commercial Department is myself Dan and Matt. We are furloughed and not able or allowed to work at the moment. The initiatives announced are from the Fund Raising/Income Generating arm of the WST ,not the Commercial Department, and because of furlough ,we have not seen or been involved in this initiative. The first we saw of these was yesterday like everyone else. As a fan I will be taking one of these up.
Our shirts have been slightly delayed but will be here in July and I believe the bespoke Designs with the help of Tim Williams and Macron are stunning.
Can’t sell any shirts because closed down, can’t run on line shop either. We have many designs ready to go when allowed.
Except for the branded face masks we have offered all the others.
Season Tickets not sure if legal to sell for an event that might not happen. When we know about Season they are ready to be launched.

We continually research other clubs, usually League 1 to National League for ideas Comparisons as well as other Sports. We have a weekly meeting on Monday morning and what to look at is included. In the last Couple of months we have looked at and prepared spreadsheets on the following. Shirt Manufacturer and Selling Price, Digital Sponsorship offers and ideas, NHS Offers, Season Ticket and shirt sales at present which is very low, what Category Clubs offer e.g Under 21 or Students, Retail ideas, Sale ideas, Good clubs to look at are Tranmere, where we used their Programme Sponsorship idea , Leyton Orient. Chesterfield. Bristol Rovers.
We also research all the Top Companies in North and Mid wales and Target them together with targeting types of Businesses like Estate Agents, Solicitors, Taxi’s etc

Anyone know what's happened to the booklet that was produced regarding sponsorship opportunities? Seems like years since one was produced.

The Sponsorship. Advertising, Hospitality Booklet is on the Website and we also have a few Printed Copies in the Club Shop. This has been done every year. This Booklet is e mailed out to current Sponsors/ Advertisers pre Season .If you have trouble finding it on the website let me know and I can e mail you one. We made a Commercial decision about 3 years ago to stop getting them printed and posted out because it was costing us between £5k and £7k and you could count on one hand the amount of people who came in with the brochure.

Finally, has Kelloggs ever sponsored the club in some way during Spencer Harris' involvement? I'm struggling on that and it's rather odd to me, one of it's shining lights has failed to get them involved in some way.

We have extended the Companies that we deal with usually by referral such from a fan for Ifor Williams . You have to be careful that there is not a conflict of interest.
If you want to know anything else that we do or have any ideas or leads for me then let me know. E mail geoff.scott@wrexhamfc.tv or call in the Shop. Telephone or you can catch me at most away matches.
Regards Geoff Scott

So the commercial department aren’t involved in the fundraising initiative.

Does that not sound odd to people?
