Definitely wouldn't want a board full of bricklayers

Has everyone forgotten about the requirement for a £50k per annum IT expert?

The business is not big enough to warrant it - outsource.

Ditch the clumsy 2 board system, it doesn’t work.

WST Chairman to be directly elected by its members, and they chair the Wrexham AFC Board, and are accountable to its members.

The Board should have an odd number of members, so the Chairman has the casting vote if issues are split equally. Ideally 6 plus the chairman.

Look at the areas we need coverage in, and have a director responsible for those individual areas: football, legal, financial, facilities, development and supporters.

All the other WST bigwigs should report to a specific director, depending on their roles.

We need a CEO to run the non-footballing day-to-day stuff, but they should report to the Board, and not be a member.

Personally I would take the Wimbledon/Brentford approach and get the CEO from a duality model, already have a CFO in essence and COO can be on current model just focussed on operations not football.

We don't have a CEO on the current board, we need one.

Nice thread but a complete waste of time, they will continue as they are and continue to deliver yet more failures to the members/fans. They are fearful of change as they want it to be ‘their’ club and not ‘our’ club.
