I suppose you have to speak as you are spoken to sometimes. I agree with your point as well that its easy to complain but we need to suggest alternatives where possible.

It is my view that such a move would put Wrexham AFC at a significant disadvantage and be a source of embarrassment to fans and owners alike."

More embarrassing than appointing a footgolf manager?
The point on Dean Keates was spot on I thought. It wasn't even worth including in the original submission IMO.

No surprise, it was ignored that what was actually asked was the resignation or removal of those named.

I like how they're letting the clock tick down so they can get they're way regarding Groves too, very sly.

The Groves development has been known about for how long now?

How exactly do the board decide then - Do they not vote on new managers?

Do we think the fanbase could make a better decision than the board?
The board decide based on how cheap they are and if they are willing to work under Pep Darlington. That's it. Being an ex player gives you a passport to the job it seems.

I don't think the Trust should make personal reflections on others actions, that aside it states the obvious that not having any positive suggestions is unworkable.

It details that decisions criticised will be voted on.

States that some of the items could be AGM items and assistance in drafting is offered. Jack needs to look therefore at AGM items that do not require changes to the constitution which I am sure Lindsay can help with.

As I say fundamentally there has to be ideas to improve. The reason being we are a shambles in football terms. It has to change.

The WST secretary’s response will inevitably piss many folk off but, as he says, the constitution is there to prevent radical change being adopted against the wishes of the incumbent executive ie the 75% rule.

Personally, I could not sign NWD’s petition because, whilst it proferred many valid criticisms, it offered no constructive alternative to the mess we are in.

Change is needed, and an AGM is the way forward to bring about the necessary change, but I am yet to be convinced that anything positive will definitely come out of this.

Fundamentally, we have a WST Executive that has failed to supervise a Wrexham AFC Board which, in turn, has categorically failed in its primary mission to win promotion and regain entry into the EFL. The Board and WST have, as yet, failed to acknowledge their failure and accept responsibility for it. So, we now have 2 camps facing each other, claiming they know best.

Therefore, unless someone can convince 75% of the membership that there is a better alternative we will continue to blunder on. Finally, all those fans who state they are cancelling their WST membership in protest at the perceived injustice are simply playing into the hands of those they are trying to remove from office.

No membership, no say; therefore, my pleas is: ‘Think before you jump ship!’

I think it was a very poor response to that aspect.

No one has ever stated we do an X-Factor type poll. To suggest so is just to "appeal to ridicule". Retaining Dean Keates means boycotts, which means huge chunks of budget gone. The club know this full well.

Pretending not to know the animosity towards Keates. Or pretending that simply making managerial decisions that are doomed to fail (3 times in a row) is perfectly fine and the only other alternative is to do an "X-factor type poll" is a condescending response. Fans merely want someone they can put their faith in. The issues many supporters have with Keates are not transferrable to a new manager.

Interesting though there's been no vote of confidence for him. They dished one out very easily to Hughes

Same reason I did not sign and to be honest this response was to be expected.

I don't think the WST board 'failed' to hold the Wrexham AFC board to account PD - they are not really in a position to given the current configuration - this needs to change.

How on earth has the club got to this stage?
Lindsay on board will not help.
Is bankruptcy the only way to rid the club of certain individuals?
This statement in tone will clearly antagonise the element of the fanbase that can see that change is needed.Possibly know that will result in people cancelling WST membership and then protecting their roles at the AGM.We really need then to renew memberships ad otherwise PJ,SH & LJ will have a free ride.
