This statement in tone will clearly antagonise the element of the fanbase that can see that change is needed.Possibly know that will result in people cancelling WST membership and then protecting their roles at the AGM.We really need then to renew memberships ad otherwise PJ,SH & LJ will have a free ride.
I think bankruptcy would be the end of the club in this form. Any phoenix club would reform into the Welsh pyramid and thus give Spencer Harris his ultimate wish of being in the Cymru premier.
I do agree with your point about people on here saying that they will not join/rejoin the WST. No membership, no say, and cricially no vote!!.

Personally, I could not sign NWD’s petition because, whilst it proferred many valid criticisms, it offered no constructive alternative to the mess we are in.

Change is needed, and an AGM is the way forward to bring about the necessary change, but I am yet to be convinced that anything positive will definitely come out of this.

Fundamentally, we have a WST Executive that has failed to supervise a Wrexham AFC Board which, in turn, has categorically failed in its primary mission to win promotion and regain entry into the EFL. The Board and WST have, as yet, failed to acknowledge their failure and accept responsibility for it. So, we now have 2 camps facing each other, claiming they know best.

Therefore, unless someone can convince 75% of the membership that there is a better alternative we will continue to blunder on. Finally, all those fans who state they are cancelling their WST membership in protest at the perceived injustice are simply playing into the hands of those they are trying to remove from office.

No membership, no say; therefore, my pleas is: ‘Think before you jump ship!’
To sum this up; we're fcked.

Everybody that is currently entitled to cote will not be affected by cancelling their subs now.
I also think if you join/rejoin now then you may be too late to vote this year anyway.
I think a huge drop in membership numbers would send a clear signal to the WST, so if you want to protest don't renew, cancel your DD from 1st July.

You can always reinstate it later.

They pump out tripe like that statement not admitting things needed changing, then top it off with another like this.

June 1st marks the first day of membership for 2020/21 and this year more than ever we need you to sign up and become a member of the Wrexham Supporters Trust.

The WST own 100% of Wrexham AFC and it's us, the fans, who keep the club moving each year by giving thousands of hours and financial support to the club we love.

This year, not only will you own your own football club, but if you sign up before July 3rd, you'll be entered into a draw to win a season ticket once football returns!

Times are turbulent for us all at the moment, and football is no different. But by signing up to the WST, not only will you own a piece of Wrexham, but you'll be helping preserve the club for the next generation.

How do you cancel? There is no number to ring as employees are furloughed I presume?

Via your bank.

In fact it's 1st June for the start of the 20/21 membership year so you can cancel now.

And for 20/21 voting it seems there is no need to sign up until next year, possibly February 2021.

My word, Lindsey is getting his rocks-off isn't he?

All these years of spraying out bildge on social media, but now he's got a proper platform to vent his spleen.

With the usual suspects still in charge....... we will be forever non league, if we manage to exist at all. What a shame, it could have been so different with the right people in charge, but the lunatics are most definitely running the asylum here! and they seem intent on continuing regardless of the harm they are inflicting on our once great Club.
