Would take some time, 2 to 3 years but over that period members can put candidates up against the members standing for re election and depose them.

I know that Mark MacDougal is going to stand, he's a local small businessman with some decent ideas and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
Good ask him how many of the issues raised n the petition he is willing to embrace.

Vote them off and they will co opt them back on. The Secretary has conveniently laid out how the chips are stacked against democratic change. The constitution is loaded to stop it.

Leave the board in place. Fans opposed need to now accept that democracy will not bring about change within the current framework but withholding custom and labour will. Put that custom and labour into creating real, focussed and loud opposition.

Democracy is about more than a vote.

This is my worry. (Well, one of them.)

They could, of course, have made it clear when they were asked around six months or so whether this could happen that no, they definitely wouldn't do this. Unfortunately, they chose to ignore that, along with NWD's other 80 questions.

I’d the situation arises where they co opt back any member who the membership chose not to elect then that is the point where I withhold all funds from the club. That would be the ultimate insult to the membership and would top off the chain of unsavory events

Withhold money and starve them out. Put the money in a new supporters trust that can buy the club out form them and boot them out when they can't continue any more.

Risky but i think its the quickest way to change things. The idea of slowly changing it won't work and lets face it they can always change the game over the long term to make it more difficult.

What if they join the new Trust and get elected through it? Such a small number vote and that small number are supportive of the current incumbents so wouldn’t that just repeat in the new supporters organisation? Change can only come through engaging supporters who don’t currently vote
