If you can't speculate about transfers, on a football forum, then what can you speculate and discuss? Transfers are speculated about on all football forums - realistic or not.

Granted, this suggestion is ludicrous because there is no way he'd come back here - he'll have far better offers.

Still, it's a football forum, you're allowed to talk about transfers, tactics etc...!!

Exactly. Why would any player looking to further there career come to this basket case in its current mess? How many player shave come here and hand on heart honestly improved?

Davies could come here and sign a two year deal but Keates would at best have him on the bench while Darlington coached any talent out of him

I agree he looks like he would be a good player for us, I don't think a drop into the conference is necessarily the best move for a player in his position. Surely he'd be looking for a League 1 club at worst of he has any ambition.
